The UHC offers a wide variety of English Settlement Services to help you get settled and acquainted with your new community as listed below.

If you are looking for French Settlement Services, please call Rodana at 519-944-4900 between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday and she will help direct you or click here to find services near you.

English Classes
We cover the following to improve your English: Speaking, listening reading and writing.
Care for Newcomer Children Program
We offer on-site care for children ages 19 months – 6 years.
Connecting Newcomer Youth – Ages 14 – 24 (Evening Programs)
Join us in our Caesar Windsor Cares Community Kitchen to learn how to cook nutritious meals, to take a meal home, and make new friends!
Computers for Youth – Ages 7 – 12
(Summer Program)
Join us to learn a variety of software used in our schools in a fun, interactive and friendly environment.
Conversation Circle
(Summer Program)
Come and mingle in conversation on interesting topics while making new friends to further develop and practice your English Skills!
Ready to Work Program
Get your certification in Service Excellence, Smart Serve, National Food Safety, WHMIS training and Kitchen Skills.
Orientation Workshops
These workshops will help you learn more about your new province and obtaining a Driver’s Licence in Ontario, etc.
