Description:
Evaluates and coordinates engineering projects; assists with technical assessments on traffic operations and/or studies; coordinates utility related activities; provides technical assistance to Engineering; prepare designs and drawings for a variety of civil engineering projects, cost estimates and contract documents; administers and provides inspection regarding in-house engineering projects; assists with the preparation, coordination and compiling of review comments on engineering submissions to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and conditions to satisfy the Municipality’s engineering standards and industry best practices.Qualifications:
- Must have a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent; Must have CET designation; Must be a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT); 3 years progressive experience in the field of infrastructure and development engineering; Experience with ESRI and ACAD software tools and project management applications would be an asset; Must have customer service, project management and technical reports preparation experience; Must have experience establishing professional
