Description:

This position is to provide inspection or testing of product to ensure proper compliance with print and control plan requirements. Performs designated inspections and reliability tests on sample parts submitted from Production Work Centers; Read, Understand, and follow requirements on Control Plans; Understand and Capable of doing MSA; Maintain calibration record and execute simple general measuring tool calibrating in house; Need to be able to operate the following test equipment; Communicates with engineers and Business Unit Managers concerning reliability test results. Coordinates with QA, Unit Engineers and production concerning containment and disposition of nonconforming material, resulting from reliability test failures; Maintains reliability test records and tested parts per documented procedures; Defines and maintains reliability test instructions and forms; Maintains long-term storage of company records in the Records Storage Center; Performs various other assigned tasks on an as-needed basis.
