Description:
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action for process related concerns; Enhance and maintain the quality system using continual improvement activities, such as 5S, Kaizen and lean methods; Maintain all components and ensure they have proper lot traceability; Assist Q.A Manager with process capability and ongoing process efficiency; Assist in production part approval; Ensure calibration and maintenance of in-house fixtures and hand-held gages; Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements; Conduct audits, create audit reports and determine corrective actions; Respond to customers complaints with appropriate corrective actions; Ensure timely resolution of supplier issues, corrective actions and preventive actions; Maintain quality documentation including manuals, processes and quality procedures; Plan, organize and manage the overall activities of quality functions; Evaluate the company’s product specifications and compare them with customer requirements; Mentor and develop new and existing employeesQualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Technician; Experience in a plastic injection molding environment preferred; Experience reading CAD drawings and GD&T; Degree or Diploma in related field; Must understand and be capable of using all types of dimensional metrology equipment; Working knowledge of TS16949 requirements; Analytical problem-solving skills; Strong organizational skills
