Food Initiatives
When you support UHC’s food initiatives, you’re contributing to our Food Bank, Community Kitchen, and Leamington Regional Food Hub. We serve as the hub for the Windsor-Essex Food Bank Association, which supports 15-member food banks across Windsor-Essex County. Together, we ensure that children and families across Windsor-Essex County have access to healthy, nutritious food, preventing anyone from going to bed hungry. Your donation helps feed your neighbours in need!
Community Garden
Support families in Windsor-Essex County by providing families a space where they can plant their own fruit and vegetables and reap the benefits. Seeds and training are provided.
Coats for Kids
Help children stay warm during the winter months. By supporting our Coats for Kids program, you will ensure that families in Windsor-Essex County will have proper winter apparel such as coats, gloves and mitts, ensuring no one in our community goes cold this winter.
